About Charleston Entertainment: Your Music & Entertainment Partner

Circa 2005, cellist, Andrew Mille created our very first website. Intended to promote our string quartet, trio and duet, then known as Classical Charleston. Many websites later our team and friendships continue to grow, extending into almost every musical genre.

Violinist Tomas Jakubek, now adjunct violin faculty at CofC, is a founding member of our String Quartet and continues to perform in our Ethos Ensembles to this day. He also performs regularly with the Charleston Symphony, along with the core of our string instrumentalists.

Thanks to our roots at CofC, our friends and colleagues also include musicians who studied in the Jazz Program — artists whose contributions have, ever since, been integral to Charleston’s jazz scene.

In 17-plus years we’ve bridged the gap between our musicians, and the many event planners and clients we work with, including area DJs, Specialty and Variety Bands, as well as other service providers we’ve come to know and respect. In 2021, Arlene Felipe became the latest addition to the CE team. In addition to her marketing and social media expertise, she has been instrumental in sourcing talent across the Southeast, and beyond.

We have been members of the Charleston Visitor Bureau’s – Travel Council, a network of travel/hospitality industry professionals in the Charleston metro area. Arlene currently serves on the board of the Charleston Symphony’s Orchestral League.

Our Mission

We believe great music enhances experiences, and creates more lasting memories. While celebrating the art of live music, our team’s roots and values center on hospitality and warm welcomes. Through unique performances, we aim to evoke wonder and joy, while featuring and providing opportunities to exceptional artists.
